کارمندان، مدیران و هیئت مدیره انجمن خدمات مهاجرین و پناهندگان از شنیدن خبر درگذشت مدیر اجرایی سابق -کریگ ماکی - در 2 نوامبر 2022 بسیار اندوهگین شدند. شهامتی که کریگ در طول بیماری از خود نشان داد، با شیوه برخورد او با زندگی، و آنکه این بیماری بخشی از سفر او در این جهان می بود نمودار گشت.
